AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
What's the top width of an automag frame? We have a mill at work, and some scrap aluminum, and was contemplating playing around with machining a trigger frame.
Get a set of calipers and take your frame and measure it up. You will need to get some measurements like the rear frame hole, sear placement and the front screw exact. After that, you can do whatever you like.

Start with a 3/4" piece of stock, face both sides at -0.015" and you're off to the races.

Thank you! My mag currently doesn't have a frame, so I have nothing to take measurements of. I think I can eyeball the sear slot. I just wanted to make sure I had the right width for it.
