RT Pro VASA on Classic a Rail

Anyone ever come across such a contraption before? This just arrived from Japan and I'm not sure what to make of it.

It is a stock agd rail. Just before they stopped making am/mm rails they made these and they are nice.

It looks like a manufacturing process consolidation. Is the main advantage in the shorter RT VASA?

I dont recall ever seeing those, or I've forgotten in my old age. lol

No real advantage in being shorter that I've ever seen and adding a LPR will cut through the front mounting screw.

Yeah, remembered right. I bought this new and had a friend pump mill it for me.
