I have a little ball bearing that I think is for the safety. What do I do with this?

Does it go in the hole with the spring? How?

take the grip frame off. the little set screw in the top whare the safty is, take that out. pull the spring out. put ball in. put spring in. put set screw back in and tighten to your perfered tightness. make sure it is still usable thow.

Wasn't sure if the ball went in the hole first or some how sat on the spring. I'll let you know how it goes.

most safeties...

have the ball on the end of the spring. thats what gives the saftey the feel of "clicking" into fire or safe. it usually pops into a slot at either end of the saftey's throw.
