    30/45 ???

can a tank hold 4500psi because of its valve or because of the the tank its self? my tank was hydro tested to 5000psi but its a 3000psi, i think my burst disc blows at 5000psi, so is a 4500psi tested to 6000psi or what?

    I believe a 4500 is tested to 7000 however....

Tested to and what you should fill it to are different things. Never fill a tank past its rated capacity of pressure. It's not worth the risk.

its the way the tanks are made
if they are made to hold 3000 psi then they will and no more would be safe ...
      same with a 4500
