AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I have a number of old adjustable tank regs. Am thinking of rebuilding them and testing them but am unsure of one thing. What kind of grease is safe to use on the orings? Just a light coating of course, I know oil is a nono for regs.
I would check with the manufacturer, if they are dead, or other sources to confirm what they recommend. i would try very light to no grease, as you can always look at the performance and add in slightly more if it is acting wonky with none.
