Poll: MAGS vs COCKERS

Hmmm... yeah personally I'd prefer mags, thats why im at this site Well anyways my friends chose cockers, I chose mags. Mags are es muy more reliable and i like the look and feel of them more anyways. But its preference. Cockers a really good, just too breaky and confusin for me.

I would just like to show everyone proof that Cockers are not $1000 because they shoot like $1000. Contrary to popular belief, they look like $1000. Second one down is the nickel BODY. Nothing else, and it costs $750. Now tell me that when you pay $1000 for your Cocker, you are getting $1000 worth of performance. You dont. But with a Mag, you do.

I think people are too caught up in the paintball hype to realize that Cockers are mostly just LOoKs.

well i tend to believe this poll is pointless we all know that the result of this poll will be that mags are better because this is a Mag owners forum if it was a cocker owners forum than they would win do ya see the point cause i dont

On my old team there was me and one other guy with a mag and three with HIGH END cockers. I can't remeber how many times one or two of the cockers would stop firing in the middle of the game and of course the mag shooters had to carry the weight of the team.

Cockers arn't so bad to trouble shoot because there are so many cocker shooter and they are all cocker tech's

I my 4+ years of playing and seeing 100's of cockers, I've met 1 or 2 people who could fully tech their own gun with the exception of store/field owners/workers.

mags vs. cockers

well im going to have to say neather b/c i own 2 cockers and a friend of mine is about to buy his second mag. We compete with each other all the time to see which marker is "better".
The Cocker= timing,external moving parts, and sometimes a @%+&! to keep up.
The Mag = no real problems, fast(depending on owner of marker), and easy to keep up

as far as accuracy goes ive seen his mag hit in a whole slight bit bigger than the paintball. but ive also done it with my cocker......


so what is better?

Most of the time cockers are breaking down because either the owner has so many diffrent brand parts with different tolerances or it has been messed with . I had a mag for a year and loved it and now I just got a cocker that im still setting up. Mags are more user friendly but cockers can be just as reliable when set up right. Choose witch gun fits you because both cockers and mags kick a**.
