    Automag leaking out back side of valve

    Ok glad to see it's back. Me too. I just bought a mag with and phase 2 on it and leaking like crazy out left side rear. I'm about 15 years since I rebuilt a mag so be gentle

    first things first replace all the o rings and add oil.

      The leak out the side is caused by bad or dirty orings on the regulator pin assembly. They are the ones separated by the plastic split washer.

      If the orings in the valve haven't been changed in a while, you should do a complete oring change. Since the valve is new to you, you should assume they are either old or not stock, so new orings will guarantee a fresh start.
      Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

        I've come across several of those Phase 2 ANS valve backs that don't like to seal with the fat valve oring. If it's leaking from that split it may be that. Even brand new orings in that spot can still leak on some of them. Soak that fat oring in some paintball oil and let it soften up a bit so it expands more under pressure to fill the gap. Sometimes that oring has gotten hard from drying out over time.
