    Power Tube O-Ring problems

Recently rebuilt a 68 valve and got everything sealed. One problem I had was the power tube o-ring. The teflon o-ring would allow air to escape out. I decided to try a buna o-ring and it stopped. Anybody else experience something like this? Is there anything I can do to get the leak to stop with the teflon o-ring? The spacer I have in currently is .225.

You can try a different spacer, 220, if you have one. Or track down a spacer kit so you have various sizes on hand.

Thanks. I have the spacer kit. I'll give it a try when I head out to play.

The oring shouldn't be teflon...I assume you just miss identified it. Buna might certainly change the height and stop the leak if the spacer size is too large. If the gun shoots fine, there's no harm in using whatever works.
