Shoebox Shocker battery harness?

Hello everyone,

I have a minty shoebox shocker that is missing its battery. I'd like to convert it to a 9v. Normally I'd cut off the battery, wire a 9v connector onto the plug/wires and be good to go; however, in this case I don't have a starting battery to modify.

Anyone have a modded 9v battery connector or know where i could pick one up? or a dead old shocker battery?

I could cut off the end of the gun-side harness that the battery normally plugs into and wire directly to that, but I'd prefer to keep the wiring harness unmolested. It's a pretty mint shocker that only saw a few games before I picked it up.

Just cut the old plug off and connect any 9v battery connector right to the wires. I have done it many times.

Totally - Just wanting to keep the gun side harness original if at all possible. Hoping it wouldn't come to cutting it up.
