    Emag with Xvalve Venting

I was shooting my Emag today. Velocity was way down after changing all orings and taking out shims. I turned the velocity nut until the it was in the 270-280 range. Once it was there, I didn't check it anymore and I went to town on an old piece of plywood. I think I went through 4 hoppers on the tank before the gauge read 1k psi. At this point, the valve started venting out of the left side hole like crazy. Never had that happen before. I've searched the forum with little to no luck about this issue. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Check the 2 front orings on the reg pin.

Venting out the side hole is the reg pin assembly. Makes sure the c-clip is on and holding it together.
Other than that it sounds like you got a piece of debri in there. If it was shooting and then starting venting, something foreign was introduced most likely through your air supply.
Probably a quick pull wipe and clean and it will be fine.

Can I replace just the orings or do I have to buy a new reg pin assembly? The white washer between the orings looks cracked to me.

Rebuild it. Those orings are probably older than you are! You just need two #779's. Tricky to remove and replace c-clip, but doable for sure. Re-use all other parts.

No need to remove the c clip. Just make that if you dislodge it from the slot that you snap it back in there.
