my rt pro has a non gasthrough forgrip. but the bottom is taped for a fitting. can i drill up and tap the side of the forgrip at the top.

i am wanting to now if the aluminum is strong enough to hold 900psi.
Sorry for the spelling. Im still working on it.

The most i've seen done with the RT Pro grip was a hole drilled thru it and macroline was used. For my own RT Pro I found a used RT grip with the gas thru in it. They are hard to find used but you can get one from AGD if you call them. I think they are $35-$45.

      Fore-grip

You can drill a hole through your RT Pro fore-grip. The aluminum is plenty strong enough. You don't need to drill a large hole, 1/8" or 3/16" will do. The thread size for the fitting is 1/8" pipe! You'll need a fairly long drill bit and you should use a drill press for the job, but it can be done. Good luck
