RT Classic Valve leak near trigger

A buddy has an RT Classic that had a weird leak around the trigger/on-off area, and I offered to work on his RT for him. I knew it had a bunch of buna orings in it, so started with a complete oring rebuild with AGD rings just to start from a clean slate, and I assumed that would eliminate the leak. It did not. Previously, this RT had run decently for awhile before this problem arose. Unfortunately, my Ninja SHP tank was empty, so I had a standard Ninja V2 with 2000psi, set at 850psi to test with. The leak stops completely when you pull and hold the trigger, so the upper on-off orings are working as they should to shut off the air supply. It's a RT Classic, so the on-off assembly has the single top oring, not the later double set. Here is what I did to eliminate possible culprits:

First, I installed this valve unit/banjo bolt in my other RT that has a CP on-off just to verify there’s nothing wonky about my buddy's RT body/rail/trigger frame, and it’s easier turning the air on and off. Same leak.

Played with front frame screw/banjo bolt tension, no change.

Then I switched out reg pins with another new one I have in my parts kit. Same leak.

Reinstalled the old reg pin and this time switched out on-off assemblies with a new one I have. No change, same leak.

Reinstalled the old on-off and switched out Banjo bolts with a new one I have to see if that’s where the air is leaking out of. No change, same leak.

Switched out the old reg piston with a new one just for giggles, same leak.

Lastly, switched out Lvl 10 carrier for a tighter one, even though this doesn't sound like a Lvl10 leak, the tone doesn't change with a squeegee down the barrel like a carrier leak does. No change, same leak.

Check this video to see what I mean. I was going to get more air and switch out the Lvl 10 bolt with a Lv7 just to completely eliminate the bolt from the equation, but I really don't see a point. This seems like some weird on/off leak I can't explain. I've owned around twenty RT Classics and never had one with a leak that didn't resolve itself through at least one of the steps I've already done.

Try turning the velocity up. Valve is not charging. Make sure the trigger rod is not hitting the back of the trigger while gassed up.

It finally pressurized, and after a lot more dry firing all the new orings broke in, and all sealed like they should. Now she’s good to go! Crono’d a string between 279-286 and was happy. Thanks for the advice, Tuna!
