BlackVCG said I should have two vertical jumpers in the block of four on the left side, meaning I should remove two of them. I have formed a pic of what my jumper setup looks like. Is this the correct setup?

black told me to put two jumpers up and down, and two going left and right...works great for me

Not necessary to remove
I'm pretty sure that you don't have to remove them. If you have four vertical and only want two, just take two off and turn them horizontal. That way you won't have to worry about losing them.
