    Warp Feed Idea

I was looking at the warpfeed on a website and I noticed that it uses a small electric motor inside of it. It appears that this motor rotates a belt and then the wheel. I was just pondering upon an idea. If that motor is the size I think it is, then you might be able to put after market motors into the warp feed. It looks like there is a Mubachi 540 motor in the warp feed now, if i'm not mistaken, you could put a low turn modified motor in there to make the warp feed even faster...such as this: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...1&I=LC3343&P=1

This is just an idea, i don't actually own a warp feed so I can't confirm if this would work or not. By the way, 9 volts on a 540 motor might be a little bit of over kill, so you could potentially run the motor(the one listed above) bad.

You'll get a nice mess in the warpfeed :)
Ths motor is a lot smaller than a RS540. Close to the RS380, but not so long.

You can get easily 20bps with a battery at 10.8V, which is fast enough. In theory you could go up to 20V, but not with the board installed in the warpfeed. Unfortunately the pressure on the paintballs will likely be too high in the breech.

The moter that is in there now, can pump out about the same or more as the halo can. There is no need to make it go faster, if no gun can shoot that fast, or no loader can feed that fast.

i can remember another thread about replacing motors in stuff that already works fine...

This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!
