warpfeed battery harness came off board

My warp-feed battery harnes came of the curcuit board, would i be better off sending it in to AGD at a later date or should have someone do it?... i ask because i have never soldered in my life and havent a clue what im doin.

If you can find some one that has at least some soldering experience, have them desolder the current battery harness and install one of the HD harnesses with the plastic top from Radio Shack.
