Building Micromag: Powerfeed or Centerfeed???

Ok, I am building myself a Micromag and I have a Red Splash Powerfeed MM body. And a Black 2k Vert feed MM body. I personally like the Black body better. I think it looks better. But I want one that works better than one that looks better. Sooooo which one should I keep. I have a Ricochet 2K if that makes any difference. Please let me know which one I should keep

tecnically powerfeed is the best. there is a tread about it not to far back. i perfer powerfeed to.

even though i think that powerfeed loads faster, i think you should go with the vert feed. it looks really cool and i think it will feed fast enough for you to pull the trigger as fast as you can, especially with the ricochet

That is what I am hoping. When I get both I am just gonna try them out and see which one I like better. Also I am gonna put together both guns and put up a poll to see which one people think I should keep\

As for where I got them. I bought one gun. And I bought the other body from a friend for $35.00.

Vert feed feeds faster. It's a straight drop, no bends no curves not power tube plugs. Just drops right down. Unless you have an ungodly ammount of blow back vert feed is your best bet.

actually powerfeed feeds faster, theres a deep blue thread about it somewhere

Great, now I am really confused. I'm gonna go look for that deep blue thread. But why do Angels and Cockers all have vert feed. You can't tell me that a vert feed Angel is slower than a powerfed Mag. Right....??????????

It depends on who you ask. Like anything.

Doc did some testing and he found that vert feed feed faster. His bwebsite is down, or it has moved. Damn

Well this is what it comes down to. vert feed is faster if you don't have blow back issues. Powerfeed is better if you have alot of blow back. So stick with the vert. feed, and if you have blowback problems then get a superbolt.

I looked for the deep blue thread, it wasn't there, it must have been one of the fight club threads that never made it through the server move. The difference wasn't big, but with some complicated math that i'll never understand they figured out that powerfeed feeds like .7 bps faster i think. You wont notice a difference though and vert looks better and balances better so i would go with that.

Ok, well I bought the barrel for my new MM body. The barrel is a JJ 2 piece and the tip is red. So I think that I am gonna go with the red body. Try to immagine a Red JJ Two piece, this body, and a black Benchmark 2X frame, Ricochet, and Red splashed foregrip. Tell me what you think.

the vert feed should be fine it thats what you like. i just said that powerfeed is tecnicly faster. and i like it better.

ive never noticed a balance problem with my powerfeed left body with a full load?

use the feed type you like. i have a standard feed mag. ive had it for 6 years. never had a feed prob with it. now with my rt's i wouldnt want anything but powerfeed. i tend to outshoot the hopper as it is. o well ill just get a warp.
