    Got air Yesterday

Finally converted my mag to air!! And it ROCKS!!

So im currently using a 68cu 3000psi tank - anyone got any realistic idea of how many shots I could get off it?

Its amazing 264 over the chrono all day , and no shootdown at all.

you'll get around 680, give or take a bit. For 3k psi multiply the Cubic inches by 10 and thats how many shots you'll get.

call it 700 - mags cant use that much, look at the size of the valve, its tiny!

Technically it depends on your setup. For example, if you have a 14 inch 2 piece barrel with 8 or so inches of porting, you could get as little as 625 (low 600's). But if you have say a stock minimag barrel, which is the most efficient I hear, you can get like 800-850, I think (I have heard claims in around 1000 shots). I have a 47ci and 500 is the number normally, but on a 'Mag, I think I will get around 600 with my lapco ss. But then again, Im just hoping that what I hear from other people is true. Ill let you know how many shots I get, Im going to a field tomorrow.

14" you gotta be kidding - the longest i have is 12" and the ones i play with are 8" and 6", both with minimal porting (i hate fancy porting)

Then you should get a lot more shots....I was just saying that because some people do have barrels that long

Your shots per tank depend on exactly how much air was put in the tank, the barrel you are using, the paint-barrel match, and the velocity you are shooting at.
