    Niether.

Get a Plamer stab, vertical max flow, or a AKALP Sidewinder

They all boast about 80:1 compresion. Most other regs out on the market have around 35:1

The angel one might have higher than 35:1 but im not really sure.

The reg that comes on the angel is pretty bad.

When AGD did a test it took 10 seconds, yes 10 seconds to recharge to its full set pressure. It is one of the worst performing regs in the industry.

If you want to get a reg the ones poisidon recomended are great.

What will you be using this on BTW?

Where'd you get those compression ratings and what are they based off of?

For those of you who are intrested

          The test:

Named after the IBM super computer, Deep Blue is headed by Tom Kaye, president of AGD. This forum is open to the public, but only high end technical subjects are allowed. If your posts don't cut the mustard they will be moved.

Keep the ergo. WGP's regs are really great. I get +-2 over the chrono with my stock WGP reg on my autococker, and the ergo is just a prettified externally adjustable stock reg.

I got the compersion ratio's from the mouth of Glen Plamer him self.

The way he explained it is that the compression ratio has to do with the size of the diaphram in the reg.

The larger the diaphram the higher the ratio.

a 70-1 ratio means that for every 1 psi that the input pressure drops under the reg output pressure of the reg will only drop 1 psi.

He said most regs are around 35-1

He said his stab was either 70-1 or 75-1, I can't remeber.
Doc tested the Sidewinder and said it was 80-1
And the vert maxflo was also around that too.

I wish I saved that email, he did a better job of explaining it that I did.
