Anyone Know An Easy Way To Get The Freak Inserts Out

I have a problem. it is hard as hell for me to get my freak inserts outta the back. neone know an easy way??? or at least a way where i can get them out

do a search. i dont use the freak so i cant help. but this subject cums up all the time. just make sure you centralize the search on the teck forum.

Put a little marker oil on the outside of each of them after you wash and dry them each time. Smear it around good. Stick finger in and crook it over and they slide right out.

Most of the ones I have gotten were very gritty and dry when I first got them. I washed them all in warm soapy water (dish detergent) and dried them real good and smeared them all down on the outsides only with oil and they go in and out much better now.

i do same as phil minus the soapy water... i prefer to take my bubble baths with out my freak inserts

I used my buddies DOW lube from his shocker and put some around the orings inside the back, instead of coating the insert itself which catches alot of dust in the open areas.

thats a good idea. Plus it'll stay on there better than oil.

My buddy dishwashes his barrels. His wife doesn't like it but she got over it.

Talking about freak inserts.

Donggie needed assistance removing his freak insert for cleaning so I wedged my index finger into the insert as hard as I could and yanked it out, it came out in 5 seconds.

However, it took 15 minutes to get the insert off my finger :) LOL.

I put my All American in the dish washer, and some of the anno came off.. I was really dissappointed..(I think it was the hot water along with the dish detergent..)
