it is different the automag on off will not fit in the rt though so they are a little different but the rt valve will in fact fit on the mag valve.

is it worth 35.00 to do it?

Are you fellas talking about the retro valve on/off assembly? I'm not sure if RT and retro are interchangable words. I posted a while back asking if there was any advantage to taking retro valve parts and putting them in a standard valve assembly; i'm curious if this qualifies. Thanks!

yes they are both the same pieces and 35 dollars i think is worth it because it actually makes it a little reactive and i am not sure but i thought the flow was better.

The on-off has nothing to do with shootdown. The stock flows plenty fast for the mag. What causes shootdown is the air traveling through the hole in the middle of the reg seat, while the pin is through there. This makes for a very narrow space.

notice i said i thought maybe it did maybe it didn't but it felt like it did and it did become mroe reactive so yeah you are right about the flow but i felt i didn't have shootdown.

or shall i say as much.

Unless your pulling 10bps+ you shouldn't get shootdown. Maybie you were shortstrokeing, and the rt on-off helped.

no i don't really shortstroke but i think because of the little reactiviness helped me shoot a little faster and i can shoot 12 1/3 balls a second over a pact chrono so i dont think short stroking is an issue (but that was with my retro valve) and whats weird is i can only shoot an angel (completely stock) 10 a second over the pact chrono.is there some kind of limiter on the angel>?
