Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent. -
I had a prob with bolt stick on my gun. It was that the nubin moved and the bolt would wedge and stick. I replaced the nubin and bent the end that attaches to the barrel so it wouldn't move. Try that or check your powertube spacers.

This is a powertube spacer problem. The aftermarket bolt you are using is a little smaller than the stock bolt. This is messing up the seating of your powertube o-ring. I would suggest first replacing the aftermarket bolt with the stock one. If you don't want to do this you'll need to buy a powertube spacer kit and replace the spacer that in there (probably a .215 or .220) with one that's a little shorter."Relax. Don't worry. If you're getting bolt stick you want to use a LONGER spacer than what you currently have in the valve. A .225 or .230 is what you'll probably need.Comment

Oops! of course you are right. A smaller bolt will need a longer spacer."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."
