How much air out of a 45,4500?

Could anyone tell me how many shots I should get out of my 45ci 4500 tank? I just got a old style RT. I think I'll get about 800 but I'm not sure.

800 sounds about right for that size. It really depends on your paint-barrel match, amount of porting, and the velocity you are shooting at.

Between 700 and 900 really, depending on your barrel, paint, and velocity. If you have a 12in .689 barrel with no porting, and are shooting .689 paint at 260 fps you will get alot of shots. On the other hand, if you are shooting a 16in .691 barrel with .686 paint, and tons of porting you will not get very many shots.

the general rule-of-thumb is 10 shots per (ci) for 3000psi and 15 shots per (ci) for 4500 psi

daaper - thats a very poor rule of thumb.

on teh 45 45 you will get the same numbr of shots as you would from a 68 3000 tank. I my case that 650-1000 shots depending on the barrel and paint.
