does the trigger rod need adjusted for iframe?

yes, i saw the video, but it didnt say anything about changing grip frames thats why i asked.

You can just remove your trigger rod to save wieght if you want. They just put it there to annoy you. :)
Don't touch it, the intelli is desinged around it.

I have a pump kit and the intelliframe makes it fire semi because it sits so close to the rod. I am waiting to find out if adjusting the rod length will make a difference.
