Im going to be getting an RT really soon and i heard that the best input pressure is somewhere around 650. Does this mean i have to buy a regulator for my tank since it is preset to 800psi? its a pure energy 48 3000

The higher input pressure just means a more reactive trigger... I have a pure energy on my RT Pro, and it works great for me. If you want to change the feel of your trigger, then you'd need a reg, but otherwise, the tank will work as is.Don't think of it as being outnumbered, think of it as a wide target selection.

While this is true, you would not want to add a third reg to a RT setup with a preset tank. The RT shoots at too high or a pressure to add another reg into the setup up. Regs need atleast 200 psi difference in order to work properly. Other wise they will just slow down flow.Originally posted by DaosBeoulve
