    RT Full-Auto worries

So i re-assemble my gun right, i forgot to tighten the feidl strip screw with the allen, i just finger tightenned it, and without tightening it my intelliframe doesent pull up agaisnt the gun fully, you can just ride on the trigger, its fun, not like a warp could even come close to feeding fast enough, its way way too fast. i stpped doing it bc i figured it would wear the hell out of my gun, i recorded it just to show somebody - www.geocities.com/obz_RR/auto.wav

Is it indeed harmful to the gun?

Holy crap! That's nuts, see if it can shoot paint anyways.

You risk wearing out the sear. Make sure to tighten the field strip screw with an allen wrench all the time.

Ah, i didnt know you were supposed to tighten with an allen wrench, i always finger tighten, whats the point of the thumb screws if you cant use them to unscrew the gun exactly?

Well, you can obviously get it a lot tighter with an allen, and the thumb screw IS a lot easier to use then a plain ol' allen... so anyways, i wanna try and find somebody with a warp to see how it holds up hehe, i compared it to the halo/emag video @ 16bps and its like... okay no way, heh.

higher input will shoot like that. and i only tighten the field strip bolt finger tight. dont see what it will hurt. i tend to check it inbetwene games to make sure its tight.
Sorry for the spelling. Im still working on it.

If agd knew that an rt could shoot auto dont you think they would be auto stock, or it wold say how to in the manul.

If agd doesint say to i doubt it is good for your gun

they dont say to do it cuz its impossible to keep paint feeding. you just have to learn to fire it without it shooting full auto. my gun is at 900psi and can shoot like that at will. i just learned to use it and not chop.

it will probably wear the sear and bolt out faster but when i wear one out ill swich to my other rt untill i have a new part. if i wear out parts on both of them ill go back to my classic mag. no big deal. think ahead and you will be fine.

really, well, with out the grip being "loose" (its not mavably loose, but not tight) i can't ride on the trigger i tried, but with it loose its too hard to shoot just one or two, you get 5 or 6, how did you go about adjusting/learning to shoot it well? i think it would be cool =D

Oh yea, my input pressure is stock on a preset, it comes in @ like 800. my RT is a powerfeed, and idk, do you think tightening the grip a little bit further than finger would reduce it some, i dont have my gun here or else i would, idk where the stop between being able to do it auto and not would be tho

You shouldn't go full auto by loosening the screws unless you want to be replacing parts. If you really want to see it do that, just crank up the input pressure and bounce the trigger.

well i have the front screw tight. i just have my inpit up high. on my automagrt i have it at 900 and can do that at will and then i can just do 1-3 round bursts. my pro i still havnt found an input i like. im going to up it to 1000 next week and see how that works. im just wanting the pro as reactive as my old style rt.
