    Barrel Problems

My barrel is giving me trouble. It's a J&J Ceramic and it fits so tight in my mag that the barrel O-rings always break when I put the barrel in. The nubbin is the problem, but I don't know how to fix it. The o-ring farthest from the detent I fixed by cutting the part of the nubbin that curls around. Now, the one closer to the detent is giving me problems. Please help!

A drop of oil on each o-ring will help them to slide a little better. Aside from that, if you are using some of the first plastic nubbins which went out, you may have the ones that have the problem of being to thick. If those are the ones you have, you either need new ones, or to make yours thinner.

I tried the oil and the o-rings still get damaged.

i had that problem once too....just lube the o-rings well enough so that they will slide past the body, it should work fine after that
