    Flatline Problems

Ok. I bought a flatline 68/3k used from a person on PB Nation. I got it and i filled it up to 3000. When i got home i turned the on/off to on, and the output goes to 800 and then starts climbing to 1200, then past that and it starts shooting air, so i shut it off and shot all the air out. Then i unscrewed the adjusting thing and it did the same thing. Then i unscrewed it so far that it did nothing, and i turned it a little bit and it slowly climbed but it wouldnt stay at one pressure. Why is this happening?? I tried it with my on gun velocity all the way in, all the way out, and in the everywhere in the middle, and it wouldnt work. How can i fix this problem and what do i have to set my on gun velocity screw at or does it not matter. Thanks.

    you are adjusting too much...

adjust it a little, shoot a few shots. adjust more, shoot some shots. the velocity doesn't just change as soon as you turn it. you have to let it adjust.

        sounds dangerous
if you cant fix it by adjusting then call AGD and they will let you send it in

You need a new reg. seat o-ring. Call AGD.

it sounds like your air is climbing, that isn't good, ya need to get w/ AGD and tell'em, ya probably need a whole new o-ring kit since ya bought it used, and then put DOW 33 grease on all the o-rings.

Trust me, you need ONE o-ring, which can be found in an RT parts kit. They are working on Flatline parts kits, but for now you'll have to find someone with an RT parts kit or get one yourself. Get one of the urethane o-rings that is used for the on/off top in the RT's. Take the cradle off of the Flatline and unscrew the Reg. body. On the reg. body you'll see a silver ball on the end of a stem and a o-ring around it. Replace that o-ring with a new one, oil it and it will work fine.

What Black has told you is true, the first flatlines that came out had a small Oring in them and did not let the right air through and they called them all back in and made the change to a bigger Oring and that did the Job the problem that you are getting comes from that Oring inside the reg, like Black said change it and all will be fine.
