my 4oz CO2 tank wont fill!

i just bought a brand new 4oz co2 tank for my phantom, i bring it to the local paintball shop and it wont fill! he even tried a different tank which filled fine so it was definatly my tank.

is there anything obvious that i would be able to troubleshoot? or could the local shop probably fix it pretty cheap? (the main guy wasnt there and the guy who was didnt know). they wont carry 4oz tanks there, but the top part is probably all the same right?

I know why! It's brass eagle!

Well it has to be the valve because it's not letting any gas pas through to be filled. Brass Eagle has a bad reputation for tanks with me.

Try screwing it into the fill station until the you contact the pin, then give it maybe 1/4 turn... he may be screwing it in too far.
