Well I am just a little confused. I am pretty sure it's so you don't get a leak while gassing up because like RT's if everything doesn't gas up fast it leaks?
What does holding the trigger in while gassing up do?

Holding the trigger in while gassing up causes the on/off pin to remain closed. It is a problem with sealing because you are leaking very low pressure into the entire system. If the on/off is closed you are only pressurizing the reg slowly and not the entire valve. Then when you let go the valve and chamber fill with the proper regulated pressure, not a slow increasing bleed from screwing the tank in.

Yeah I heard a couple people complaining about it while screwing in CO2 tanks and screw in nitro."If everything is under control your not moving fast enough."

I just wanted to make sure. Because someone said it was not true and you should always keep the trigger not held. Such liars they were..."If everything is under control your not moving fast enough."
