Cutting down the powerfeed tube?

Has anyone tried this or heard of it? Would trimming it cause any problems with feeding? How long should I leave it if I cut it?

I have mine cut down. It's cool because it lowers your profile and puts the hopper closer to the center. It doesn't effect the performance at all either. You should leave enough on so the elbow has a couple millimeters to clear the body/the elbow can be fully on.
