dont get a 4500

unless you play tounaments ur not going to find someone to fill a 4500 psi tank. and if you buy a 3000 psi you can buy a scuba tank and fill your tank 80 times for 3 dollars instead of 1 time for six. Right now i do not know of a feild in the country that says field air only. and the highest scuba tank pressure you get is 4250 and you have to be highly certified to screw with stuff like that. Also keep in mind if your a front player you will most likely take your bunker at the beggining and then not shoot very much for the rfest of the game. a mag is a pretty gas effecient gun and and unless your using an e-mag i doubt youll ever shoot 650 plus rounds in a game. so you could buy a 48cubic inch tank and only buy it to 3000 psi.

i have a 4500 and when i go play with all my friends 3000 psi just isnt enough for a full day of play

Techincally MOST fields are field air only. The insurance agency that supplies most fields with its insurance, at least here on the west, doesn't allow fields to have people filling their own tanks. Of course that is hard to enforce and a little too cautious, i think most people will be fine using a scuba, but ive been to a few tournies where they will not allow it. But again this usually isn't enforced.

ok, you do not need to be higly certified to fill the tanks. alot of fields where i live do fill tanks to 4500. you will not get 60 fills from a scuba tank, unless it is humungous. alot of insurance agencies will not let players fill theri own air at fields. can you say, liability?

I do play in a lot of Tourneys. And my field fills to 4500. Plus, I dont have my own car to keep the big scuba in. Also, my field has "All day Air" You pay 8$ for the first fill, and all the others you get for the rest of the day are free. So if I emptied a 48 ci per game, I would just go fill it up for free.

sounds like everyone here needs to play at the field I play at. As long as you have compressed air, you get free fills all day. Don't have to pay a dime for it. All the prices are great ($10 field fee, all day. Great paint prices too). I dont have to worry about my air consumption (I shoot an Emag), just the paint!

i think the guy who started this thread thing is pointing more towards people who go out and play every once a while, not tourney players, cause that extra $150 ya spend to have a 4500psi rated cylinder on, could be used for the person o buy maybe a barrel, new oack, mask...

Hmm, i'm not going to find someone to fill a 4500 tank? Well, let me count, one, two, three, four, yeah thats it 4 out of four stores and fields in the area do 4500 fills.

I think he's saying, don't get a 4.5k if you can't get it filled as cheap as a 3k
