when you snap shoot or shoot in burst you have 5 or 6 balls already sitting on top of the bolt so by cutting it down you will start cutting paintballs around you 3rd shot instead of your 6th because your hopper has to kick in. if your using intellifeed then it is a tottaly different story then cut it as short as your elbow will let it but if your using a stock revo i would not recommend screwing with it.

SImple Solution to chopping:

Stick your stock revy into a warp feed, and shoot as much as you want, at just about any attitude within reason and make the string as long as you want without chopping. Problem Solved.
