    Sydarm Questions

Hopefully i'll have a lovely used Sydarm in my hands pretty soon. Unless Canadian Customs wants to steal it from me.
Anyway, i'm wondering a few things:

Are the parts on the Sydarm interchangable with a normal mag? Which ones won't work?

It has the pump conversion kit on it as well, and i'm wondering what i have to do to take it off. I'd like to use it as a pump and as a semi depending on the day/game. I'm wondering if it's easy to change the setup and if i need extra parts. I heard the body rail has to be milled to fit the pump kit, so if i take the kit out, would the milled rail still work?

I'd just like to have my head on straight when this gun comes in the mail, perhaps get parts ahead of time. Plus i think i've asked the guy too many questions as it is

The sydarm is differant from regular mags. I'm not sure in exactley what way. I know that they only shoot around 260fps, so there is something differant in the valve. Most of the parts are probably interchangeable, what is it exactly that you want to change? As for the pump kit, you can take that off without any problems. You might need a different bolt spring or bumber or something, i'm not really sure. Those parts are like $5 so its not that big of a thing if you even do need them.

I'm pretty sure you have to mess around with the body rail for the pump kit. If i want to take the pump kit off, would the milled rail still work?

And i was mainly concerned about the trigger frame. Perhaps some old o-rings or whatnot i might need to replace. Since it's a different valve, i might need special replacement parts. Just wondering if i have to beg AGD to sell me some special Sydarm parts.

The only modification to the rail is a hole is tapped out to accomodate the pump arm. The fact that the pump kit is already installed means this hole already exists. If you remove the entire pump kit, the hole remains but does not make a difference since there is nothing for there to leak. To go from pump to semi, you take off the wave spring and the black bumper and replace it with the blue one. Done.
        Peace!
