    Intellifeed 9V Revy?

Is there any reason why I would not want to Intellifeed a 9V Revy? Since the I-Feed 9V will spin with every shot, would the performance be much worse than a I-Fed 12V or even X-Board Revy?

    Your thoughts are appreciated.

Well i suppose if you i-fed your 9v it would help some but you probably wont see much of an increase in performance...I would suggest getting a 12v with x-board and hook the intelli feed to that.

but this goes back to some DR said, that does make sence

if it spins on every trigger pull then there is no need for the eye, and that a 9v and a 12v will basically do the same job, because your stil agitating the balls every trigger pull

there may be slight differences in ball feed speed, but if you just shooting it on like a 68, then it wont matter

That's what I'm wondering. If it spins everytime, will there be a performance difference?

I will change the propeller to a 4 prong (and possibly a Vortex). The marker will be either PF Retro or Micro Retro if it matters.

PS - Thanks for the quick response. I love the fact on AO, you get intelligent replys in a matter of minutes.

if your going to be using a valve that will shoot that fast you might want to go ahead and get the 12v, i dont think the x-board is really something you have to have wth inteli
but i think that with the rof you gonna get you might need the 12v

however a 9v might suit you just fine, i am sure it can handle a 5 or 6 ball string with the inteli hook-up

Go ahead and wire it up, but leave the eye working. Between the eye and intelli, it should keep up with your gun.

Well there is no delay in hopper agitation when it is Intellifeeded. So there's no point in spending money on an Xboard unless you use your eye alot.

You can handle more than 5-6 balls with a 9V. My friend used to have one and it was doing at least 8-9.

Had my post typed and everything and then I decided to do a search! So has anyone done a 9v w/ intelli? I have a 9v that doesn't get any use and was thinking about it to save $ on batteries, make it a little lighter, and I have lvl x so I should be ok. Just wondering if anyone else had done it and how it worked.

                    Chuck,

You still need the batteries in your revvy once you intellifeed it, unless you're using an emag or other electro that you can use the electro's battery to power the hopper.

In a normal intelliframe, the way it's wired up, the microswitch just causes the current to bypass the board and go straight into the motor. As long as you don't unhook the board and leave your eye working along with the intellifeed, everything should be fine.

I did have my old preBE 9V revvy intellifed, and could still do it, if I actually wanted to. I just moved my cable from my revvy to my warp feed when I got it. My 9V could keep up for maybe 6-7 shots. After that....

But yeah, someone else does have their 9V intellifed. I just don't use the link up I have on it anymore...=)

Thanks for the info DaosBeoulve, yeah when I said "save $ on batteries" and "a little lighter" I was referring to only having to use 1 9v instead of 2. The idea of running one off of my emags battery sounds interesting to but I think I'll wait until I have a warp. That makes me wonder if you can run the warp and revy off of your emag battery? Oh well, time to do another search, of course anyone w/ info please feel free to respond!

about running your revy and warp off and emag battery...my dad did it to his emag and it works great but it sucks down the batteries rather quickly

                            battery length

how long would the emag battery last running the gun, hopper and warp? any idea?
