Why did the Intelliframe break my Mag Pump!?

I have a minimag with pump kit and I just installed the intelliframe. Everything went okay but now it's acting weird.

When you pump back, it makes the trigger rod stiff behind the trigger so you can pull it and release the sear. Well the same thing happens now except I no longer have to pump. I just keep pulling the trigger and it fires in semi mode. But it has a pump kit on it. It seems like since the trigger pull is so short, the rod no longer has to stiffen up and lengthen (as it did with the old frame, remember pump, rod straightens and tightens and gets closer to the back of the trigger, fire). Also there seems to be a leak at odd intervals now. Can someone tell me what's wrong? And yeah I think the leak is somehow related to the frame beause it was working fine before with the old frame.

    Thanks
    Peace!

      Wrong Era...

You are talking about a pump kit that was meant to go on a gun that was manufactured 10 years ago. Tolerances have changed, and it was not that good of a conversion anyway. Thats why it was discontinued. What did you expect? My suggestion is to buy an old school aluminum frame from the AGD store and put that on there. You may have better luck...

Thank you! That's what I was going to say! The intelliframe trigger pull seems to be TOO short.

Can't I just screw the rod in so it's shorter?

not to bash pumpguns or anyone who likes them, but why would you want to make a gun capible of 10+bps to be a pumpgun? if you want a pump buy one. for the price of the intelliframe i know you can buy a pumpgun. just my $0.02

I guess it's an appreciation thing. I don't think you'd ever understand. I guess similarly I can ask why do you shoot a mechanical when you could be shooting an emag with a mouse click trigger?

                      Right

Why dont some of you guys help him out instead of making smart *** comments. No offemnse to anyone but who the hell cares if he wants to use a pump. Dumb comments wont help his gun shoot better. I would help him but my intelliframe isnt here yet and i dont have knowlege of pumps. Just get with it guys

Yeah I agree, it's preference of what people like in paintball. Some people like mouse clicks, some people like old school stock games. It's all what you want.

Yeah the tolerences have changed, which sucks for you because I can bet a pump mag is deadly!

You bet it's deadly. So far my only solution is to keep my Diamond Labs 2x frame with the swingy trigger so that I can swap it in when I want to play pump. The downside is now it's not a 5 minute pump to semi swap, it's alot longer. And since the two frames are different heights, the size of the hose from my bottomline to gas thru has to be changed too!

Any mag techs have any ideas on this?
                          Peace!

Ask Mr Orr why he made a Sniper so good before he turned it into an Autococker? He shoulda made the Sniper suck because it was a pump.

And i'm pretty sure pump guns follow the same pricing to quality ratio as semi's do RT PRO. A pump worth as much as an intelliframe won't get you too far.

If you only knew what some of these pumps cost or are worth.
