Hey. I just got my Minimag and i have a couple questions. I was wonering, how do u cock the thing? or does it automatically cock when u gas it up? (my nitro tanks not here yet). also, how do u adjust the reg in the back? And when u adjust it, how do u know when you adjusted it right?

Love my Minimag!!!! The Mag cocks when you gas it. Cool right? You adjust the reg in the back with a hex wrench. The best way to make sure that you are not shooting hot is to take it to a PB field and chronograph it down to 280 FPS. If you turn it up to high it will leak air out the back. That is the reg piston in the gun doing its job so you don't shoot to hot.

OK,....so I bought a used MiniMag off E-Bay, and it SEEMS to work fine. However,...I have an "itch to upgrade/replace" parts in order to customize it to my liking. My BIGGEST QUESTION: What Valve would be the best/most compatible replacement??? I would also want to install the "Level 10" kit, so it would need to be compatible with that as well. I've already given it a good workout (went to a tournament this past Saturday), and it chopped a lot (could have been the paint though). I REALLY LIKE IT, and just want to "make it my own".

all agd valves except the classic rt are forward and reverse compatible.

if it was chooping it was either a horrible paint/barrel match or ur lvlX is setup wrong.

if u can afford an x-valve thats the way to go.
