I also have one that came with my used back-up Mag. The Mag shoots fine and I haven't expereanced any of the shoot down issues that many people expereance with the Reactor valve. With that said I also haven't seen any improvment. I put a stock on/off in the valve and it shot the same. I would say that you shouldn't spend money on this afer market "upgrade" for two reasons.
One, the chances that it will improve your gun are very small and it can definatly cause shoot-down.
Two, the on/off bottem that comes with the Reactor valve does not stay in the valve when the valve is out of the gun. This means that every time you remove your valve you have to be VERY carfull or a small round piece will fall out and cause your gun to be completely unusable. I would say that this happens to me 8 out of 10 times. Luckly I've always been able to find it but how long can that luck last.
If you want to get one I suggest trying to find one used on this forum or another so you don't have to spend the full $35 or $40."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."

ive seen Reactor on/offs shot, and cyclones, and z-valves. out of all of them, Z-valves are the best. the return is much snappier, while it doesnt go ReTro, it is much more crisp, and much shorter. only for HPA. you can "tune" the zvalve so it is electro short, with faster recharge rates, but you can also get nothing from it. its a hit and miss. if you know what you're doing, you will be okay. cyclones, from AKALMP, are drop ins. you throw it in, it helps your trigger pull a bit, cant do much. but they've always worked that ive seen. never a problem. id suggest for the money either a z or cyclone. reactors just never seem to work right."Mad Painter"
