Vertical Feed vs Power Feed on a Minimag

Im considering buying my first Automag, a Minimag actually. I have the option of getting one with Vertical feed (for an incredible deal) or one with powerfeed for an average deal. Now Powerfeed is alright, but Im a backman and ive sworn by Vertical feed on all other guns Ive used. Ive heard rumors that the vert feed chops balls alot in an mag, but Ive also heard chopped balls are probrably caused by people who dont know the trigger. Is it safe to say the latter is true and not the former?
Minimag w/ Hopper Right Powerfeed body, Benchmark 2x Trigger / Frame, 12" Smart Parts Teardrop, ANS Venturi Bolt, ACI 6 Stage Expansion Chamber, 12v Revolution Hopper, Crossfire 68ci 4500 psi HPA Tank, Custom made Drop Forward (kinda like a P&P one).

i like my vert feed. of course i have a hyperframe, so i dont really have a triger problem, but they do make it easier to shoot, better balance and all. just make sure you have a revy, and get used to not using a sight.
