    Changing of spacers???? TWICE

I've had my mag for about a year and it worked fine. then i had to chande my pt spacer from .225 to i thnkik .220 and it worked fine. then a few monthes later(all this time w/ a stock frame)i ahd to shorten it again to i thiknk .215. fine w/ me i don't care but is this normal? I just put on a z-grip and ir works awesome and i ahven't had to change the spacer.

Sounds to me like maybe you've never changed to PT-oring way down inside the pt., that could be expanding from lube build-up (absorbtion). The shorter spacer could be making up for this swelling. Why did you change the pt spacer what was the problem?

I've changed it i think twice already just because of scratches, abrasions, etc. I changed it because of what seemed like very easy shortstroking. i would rapid fire and then it would hiss out the bolt. all i had to do was change the spacer and it was fine.

Hey, I'm not sure how to do spacers. Is smaller better, if bursts of shots make air leak (short stroke)?

The power tube spacer is the primary way to fine tune your mag for shifting tolerences. Which is why you -may- need to change the spacer if you put on a new grip frame, or install a new bolt etc.

The primary idea for the power tube spacers is, if you get bolt stick, use a longer spacer, if you get barrel leak, you want a shorter power tube spacer.

If you havnt replaced the power tube o-ring in awhile, I suggest you try that.
