    ans valves???

    hey this is my first time ever posting a thread on a forum so i hope this is cool ... anyways i was wondering if anybody has any knowledge about the ans phase 2 or 4 valves do they work? are they necessary to eliminate shootdown? how about thier bolts?

      No.

      They do nothing.

      Shootdown? If you mag valve is properly maintained and working like it should, you have to fire it at a rate above 13 bps before shootdown even becomes a concern.

      very few people can shoot a mag that fast without electronic assistance. (if any. . .)

      If your 'mag DOES have a shootdown problem, there is somthing wrong with it that can be fixed without too much trouble. If you do have a problem, let us know exactly what your setup is, and Exactly what the problem is. We'll help ya out.

              Hey, I got one of those ANS Phase 2 Valves. It's sitting in the bottom of my toolbox as we speak. If you want, you can put mine on and see it do nothing

              What's this? A new Mag owner in TO....

                      Well I know it may not do much for shootdown.. but MY ans phase II does allow for slightly lighter trigger pull and its hard to short-stroke it. Don't ask me why or how but I have swapped between my phaseII reg and my stock reg 3 times in the last day or two and I can definately tell the difference. I even went so far as to change the PT spacers to compensate.. still.. the stock trigger was just to resistant. Anyways.....as you can see below.. my ANS is for sale with the bolt (10000 rds on bolt. Still in great shape)
                      if anyones interested in chroming their mag out a little.
