    Hopper Headaches!!!!!

I have a 12V Revvy and a Ricochet 2K, and am having problems with both!

In February, at the Mardi Gras tournament, I got an X-board from the Revvy stand. A few weeks ago it just died. I tried fresh batteries and stuff like that( simple stuff), with no luck. Anyone else had the same prob with X-boards? Will they replace it for me?

With my Ricochet, in the instructions they warned against "Using excessive force to mount it in an elbow" or something to that effect. We must have differing oppinions of excessive, but anyway, I managed to break off most of my feed neck. I still have a little stump that I wedge into my Warp, but it tends to fall out every so often. Also, I read a review at War Pig.com, and they mentioned that the Ricochet's shell was pretty crappy. I have found this to be true. I have been really nice to it during play( only had for about three monthes now) and there are a few cracks in the shell, and some of the posts that hold the motor and stuff broke the first time I took it apart. Anyway, Does anyone know where I can buy Ricochet shells, or better yet, if they'll replace it for me? Thanks, LMK.

I would contact the vendor you bought it through (Viewloader booth?) and inform them. If you have a receipt showing its only a few weeks old and theres no sign of damage (Water or impact) they would hopefully replace it.

The Ricochet, I knew the first time I held it.. the plastic would get brittle and break. It didn't feel oily like the VL's do when they're new. It felt dry. Plastic needs natural oils to stay flexible (to a point) I think its since they're new... they're using cheap plastic to make it out of the moneyhole created when you go main stream with a business. If there's a disclaimer about "Forcing" it into an elbow... I think you're S.O.L.

I've personally found it never hurts to ask.. and that goes for anything. The worst that can happen is you'll have to buy a new shell. You know you'll have to do that anyway, so if they replace it.. you made out good :)

      contact ricochet

i read somewhere in a review that if you sand off too much of the neck and it doesn't fit they'll send you a new housing free of charge...maybe if you contact them about this, they do the same. worth a shot
