    SFL e-Mag

I purchased a black (powder) e-Mag from Shocktek.
Despite purchasing a HALO and a warp feed I am still chopping copious quantities of paint, RPS, Diablo, you name it and I can "blend" it!

After firing the first 100 paintballs out of my new gun the delrin bolt shredded. Airgun was nice enough to send me a temporary foamie bolt to help get the gun up. They said that a delrin bolt will not be available till Summer, and that I should be careful because the foamie bolt is shorter and can cause blowback. alas I am still breaking too much paint to make the gun worthwhile in either walk on or tournament play. My team was not happy with me when I tried to use it in the CPSA. I spent the day behind my bunker cleaning paint out. Finally I went back to my Angel...just not soon enough.

The e-mag is currently a VERY expensive boat anchor and is literaly useless on the field because I cannot rely on it.
I already own a top-of-the-line Autococker and Angel, and the e-mag was meant to replace both of them for playing tournaments.

I am really hoping that AGD will come up with a solution that will get me back up and running. My new e-mag is now collecting dust until hopefully AGD comes up with a solution. I REALLY want to be able to play this gun in tournaments. What a shame!

Are you chopping or breaking paint in the barrel. If you are chopping you will have paint in the feed tube. Chopping is a feeding problem. Try turning down the max ROF to something slow like 7 or so. If it stops chopping then you may be out shooting your feed system.

If you are not chopping but instead breaking paint in the barrel read this:

Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.

Good luck, let us know what you find out.

Check the ball stack (http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=12140). Also, make sure the warp is spinning with each shot (at least 1/4 turn, try the intellifeed cable) and that the hose is not kinked. Check the detent too. Some people were having problems with them not being adjusted correctly from the factory.

Start by doing this. Take off your Warp and hopper. With the feed tube open, drop in one ball at a time and fire it. Observe how it shoots. Next, drop in two balls and fire them. If you have any problems breaking or chopping, check the ball detent. Make sure it's not stuck. Also, back it out a bit and see if that helps. Check to make sure your barrel lines up with the breech properly. AGD is working on completely fixing all of the Mags chopping and breaking issues. Hang on for awhile and you'll be glad you did. In the meantime, try those things and report back.
