    magnetic mechanical trigger

Not sure if this has been thought of before but I was Wondering if this is possible to do with a regular automag. Tell me what you think.
set up: Micro e-mag with 32 degree chrome flame drop, Level 10, 88/4500 crossfire, 12 in CP, 32 degree whisper and ARADUS 14in barrel, EVO II.

It really wouldn't have a point because it would still be just as heavy. Also it might be hard to find a magnet that strong(i think..)

I think that it may have a shorter triger pull because the magnets are pushing each other. Not sure though.

that seems pointless to me. Think for a moment. The sear has a pin pushing down on it. There should be a small gap between the trigger and the sear rod. I don't really see what the advanage of adding a magnet is. More resistance? It's not going to spring back any faster. Isn't this exactly what you don't want? It's accomplishing the opposite of a retro valve.

Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

Good idea, but I don't think you've got the concept down quite right. If you want the trigger to be like the emag's, then you need the magnet returning the trigger to it's resting position, it wouldn't really have anything to do with the sear pin assembly. Keep working on it though! Innovations don't come easily.

Hell I say try it. At the very least you'll then more easily see what went wrong or maybe even right.

well... exacly what does this do? Seems to me this will only make the pull harder due to the "powerful" magnets. What are you trying to achieve?

trying to duplicate the reactiveness of an RT valve is my guess. :)
