Hello everybody. I'm about to purchase a MiniMag and I need some help. So far I want get some custom rails and maybe Warp Feed. Can you guys give me some ideas on how to hook up my gun for looks and performance? For the outside I like the blue and chrome look but I cant find any good website that sells nice rails and grips. For performance I've been hearing about Warp Feed but I'm not sure what it does and I'm not sure what it takes to make it work with my gun. Thanks.

Can I give you some pointers?
First.. always go performance before looks.. what good is a pretty marker if you can't hit anything with it? I would go with a barrel first (Since all AGDS perform well outta the box) Then get an agitated loader Revvy 12V xbooard will do fine. Then maybe.. if you wanted to take the money you'd spend on that splash kit (What I like to call yellow High performance stickers for riceboys) and buy you a Retro-valve. Then from there you may need to buy a Warp and an intelliframe or intelli-Z-grip coming hopefully. Now you're set with a MEAN looking, paint-throwing, B.A.S.O.B!
Heres info on the warp

FrAuStY, thanks for the info. I want to go with looks AND performance. I had a Minimag a few years ago but its been a while and I'm out of the loop. I'm gonna leave the bolt it comes with since I remember it was pretty good. I wasnt planning on buying a Smart Parts splash kit, just some colored rails. How much does the Retro-Valve improve performance? Is it worth getting? I plan on running CO2 for now but I dont like the vertical setup. I want some type of cradle but I'm not too sure about my setup yet. Any more pointers would be helpful. This is what I got planned so far.
Dye 45 trigger frame (Chrome)
Dye grip or Smart Parts wood grip
Dye SS Barrel
Dye Cradle (Chrome)
Viewloader Evolution Loader
Expansion Chamber (Chrome)
Colored Rails with matching power feed
Chromed out Powerfeed body (I could do this myself)Comment

my reccomendation:
Get an intellaframe instead of the dye.
Get an xboarded 12v or a halo instead of the evolution. (I've heard of too many problems with the evolution)
The warp isn't just for high rof. It helps your profile and allows you to shoot with your mag in wierd positions.

If I were you, the first upgrades I'd get, would be an Agitated loader, a 12V X-Board revvie aught to do you well, and HPA, along with a good barrel that matches the paint you use most frequenly. You can always upgrade more, and add to the astetics of your 'marker later. You'll be much happier having something that works great first, even if it doesnt look as good as you'd like quite yet.
If HPA is really -not- an option for you, id invest in ways of keeping the liquid CO2 out of your valve, Mags really dislike liquid CO2, another reason why HPA is the way to go. Also, the ReTro Valve will only run on HPA.
Yes, you can change the grips on the Intelliframe, they should fit any 45 style grips. The Intelliframe also comes with black DYE stickies stock, and the Intellifeed hookup is optional.
as far as I know, all the aftermarket 'shiny' aluminum Power Feed plugs, are still being made to the old style of plug. if your looking to keep the performance up as well, I'd stick with the stock parabolic powerfeed plug, the old styles tended to cause some feeding problems.Last edited by Xzion; 05-01-2002, 07:44 PM.Comment
