Ok my RT is way too reactive. I know its my input pressure, its gotta be....I have an input of 800 (its a preset) is there anyway to get around buying an adjustable tank???
Ahh Tooo Reactive!

Not really.. I know if you put another reg in there it will starve the valve (not enough air flowing fast enough to re-charge). That would allow you to adjust it. Thats the bad thing about preset tanks. Maybe try to save some money and sell yours to someone at the field. Then buy a flatline
I don't own an R/T (yet) so I don't know of any other way to adjust the react. Who knows.. maybe some fart smeller.. smart feller, rather, will come along and help

There comes a point when the gun becomes too reactive and you can't control it. What you need to do is measure your on/off pin. Check the bottom of the pin to see if it looks like it broke off. That happens sometimes since the pins are so small. Measure it with dial calipers. It should be about .750"
To prevent this in the future, always make sure to completely pull the trigger ALL the way back before you pull out the valve.

hmmm.
use a old bolt spring that's not so long or try using a regular bumper instead of an Rt bumper ???? I dunno....

Im pretty sure the RT bumper serves a purpose over the blue one, i dunno. On/off pin os your best bet, also make sure you tighten the field strip screw with an allen wrench.Originally posted by Havoc_online

OMG, i cant believe this. I measured the on/off pin, ghood to go, just a hair under 3/4 inch. So this time i put it all back together and tightened the field strip screw with an allen wrech and BAM! it works like it should. Not as reactive anymore, which is great! I know it might sound wierd to all of you people not using RT's not being able to figure out why i dont want it so reactive, but i think i might have been doing like 17bps (NOT JOKING) and i chopped every one of them
Im hoping to get a warp too, that might solve everything

Ah yes, the loose field strip screw. That's the one common thing I forgot to put in my first reply. Yes, it is VERY important to have the field strip screw tightened with an allen wrench, especially on the RT's. I'm assuming you have an original RT. On those, the banjo bolt was designed to have the air hole line up with the holes inside the rail when you tightened it with an allen wrench.
