DYE gauges good on a flatline?

To get my RT pro even work with the flatline is to crank it to 850/900. Tech help told me the input gauge is pretty INacurate. They're to small. Would a DYE guage work well?

I'd go with the MacDev mini-gages. They're small and accurate within +/- 3%. www.vital-paintball.com has them.
