    Replacing Flatline Gauges?

Need to replace the gauges on my flatline. Please excuse my ignorance, but I have a few questions:

    Are gauges user replaceable parts?
Can it be done w/ air in tank and on/off to off position? I'm thinking no, or else gauges would read '0' when set to off, but thought I'd ask...
In general, is okay work on a tank w/ air in it?
Anything else I need to know?

    Thanks - Kevin

You could replace the LP guage with the tank off, but you might want to drain it anyway.

The HP guage will vent tank pressure if removed so don't do it unless the tank is empty!

Whenever doing something with your air tank it's never a bad idea to empty it. Things like screwing in hoses is safe, but some people like to take the extra step of caution.

When in doubt, ask someone that knows, or empty the tank.
