    Stripped Screw

Okay so here's the deal. I was putting in a drop forward on my mag today, and in the process of adjusting the regulator, I had to move the hose from one point to another on the reg. Anyway when I went to put one of th ereg plugs in, I couldn't because the threads that the screw would have gone into was stripped. With this, all my gun does now is just blow air. Does anyone know of a way to re tap that stripped screw, or to fix the problem? (please no comments like "just hammer it"). Also is it possible to soder that screw hole closed? I'm kinda desperate for ideas and don't want to have to get a new reg.

Yeah, you'll either have to take it to a machine shop to get them to re-tap it or send it back.
