I would have to say it depends on what you want out of a marker.

The Automag/Minimag is a small, compact marker, thats very durable and relyable, along with one of the shortest stock triggers around, also a good rate of fire. It tends to be more of a rec player type gun.

an RT PRO has the fastest mechanical trigger and recharging valve in the paintball industry, which is also attached to the automag/minimags high durability, and relyability, along with the very short trigger, with the added effect of the RT's reactive trigger. it tends to be more used for tourney players for the insane rates of fire than can be achieved.

an upgraded mag, can go either way, depending on which valve you decide to use in it. the stock mag\mini A.I.R. valve, or the RT ReTro Valve. It can be either a mag, or an RT in a 'mags body.

Keep in mind, that the only real valve performance upgrades for an Automag/Minimag, is the ReTro Valve and a HPA system, and the RT PRO already comes with the best 'mag trigger frame on the market, so aside from that, the only real things to upgrade the performance, is a barrel that matches your paint, also for the Minimag/Automag, an aftermarket gripframe (most will suggest the Intelliframe) everything else is mostly cosmetic.

    Hope this helps some.
