Minimag Bolt Problem?

I bought a new minimag. I have also had another one for many years. The bolt on my old one has a tip that protrudes from the bolt to contact the ball. It is a foamieless stock bolt. The question is on my new MMAG, the part that is supposed to protrude out of the bolt is backed into the bolt kind of like a super bolt. It is the stock bolt. Is this a defect or is this a new design for the bolt? I am not sure, please help. Thanks.

thats the newer longnose bolt that is stock now..... there is a pic of the posts around here somewhere but i dont remember where i saw them.....

yeah, sounds like you have the new stock long nose bolt. Ive included a pic, theyre in order from left to right.
